The Reno Gem and Mineral Society, Inc. (RGMS) photographs and records its events and programs. By attending, you consent to photography, audio recording and video recording by RGMS and authorized event partners.
RGMS may use your appearance, voice, likeness and name for any purpose in connection with RGMS and its programs, in any medium now known or later developed, including without limitation our website, social media, news coverage, print materials and advertising.
Recordings are used to document our events and to promote RGMS programs and future public events. Official recordings are owned by RGMS. We do not sell attendee images or grant third parties the right to use them as their advertisement.
An adult attending with a minor consents on that minor’s behalf.
By attending, you waive and release any claims related to this use, including without limitation any right to inspect or approve the recording, any claims for invasion of privacy, violation of the right of publicity, defamation or copyright infringement, and any claim for fees. All official photography, filming and recording is done in reliance on this consent.
If you do not agree, please do not enter the event premises.
Most official photos and video are crowd and activity shots of show floors, exhibits, classes, open shop and programs such as Kids’ Corner. If you are prominently featured in an official close-up and would like us not to use that image, email info@renogemandmineralsociety.org. Crowd and event-wide photos and video may still be used.
